AVI-COL (Oral Liquid)

Product Overview

Avi-Col Oral Liquid by Avicenna Laboratories (Pvt) Ltd. contains Colistin Sulphate 200 gm per 1000 ml. This polymyxin antibiotic is indicated for bacterial infections caused by gram-negative bacteria, including gastrointestinal infections involving E. coli, Klebsiella, Salmonella, Pasteurella and Pseudomonas.

Dosage Instructions

Prevention: Poultry, 1 ml per 10 liters of drinking water; animals, 1 ml per 40 kg body weight. Treatment: Poultry, 1 ml per 5 liters of drinking water; animals, 2 ml per 40 kg body weight. Use for 5–7 days in each case.

Precautions and Packing

Use in consultation with a veterinary doctor. Protect from heat and light, keep away from children, and store below 30°C. Available in 100 ml, 500 ml and 1-liter packs.
