Product Overview

Neocenna-72 Powder by Avicenna Laboratories (Pvt) Ltd. is an aminoglycoside antibiotic for poultry, cattle, buffaloes, horses, goats and sheep. Each 100 gm contains Neomycin Sulphate 72 gm. It dissolves easily in water and remains in a stable solution.

Indications

Neocenna-72 has bactericidal activity and is effective against various bacteria causing enteritis and mastitis, including Streptococci, Staphylococci, Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Campylobacter, Actinobacillus, Listeria and Proteus. At a low dose, it acts bacteriostatically and is poorly absorbed from the intestinal tract into the circulatory system.

Dosage

Poultry: 17–25 gm per 200 liters of drinking water for 3–5 days. Cows, buffaloes and horses: 4 gm per 100 kg body weight for 3–5 days. Goats and sheep: 40 mg per kg body weight for 3–5 days.

Precautions and Packing
